Financial Accountant

The Bedford Estates has a unique opportunity available for a Financial Accountant to join the team in Woburn, Milton Keynes. The role is a full time, permanent position.

The Bedford Estates has a new role within the Finance Team which looks after all of the business interests across the Woburn and London Estates. We are seeking a Financial Accountant who will appreciate the opportunity to work within our diverse business environment.

What are the responsibilities of the Financial Accountant?

The key requirements of this role include preparing and analysing the management and final end of year accounts for audit purposes, supporting the submission of tax documents and ensuring agreed financial practices and procedures are adhered to. The role will also give exposure to a number of projects, system improvements and process enhancements.

What do we look for in a Financial Accountant?

The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, have sound analytical and reporting skills along with proven experience of balance sheet reconciliations. Previous experience within an accounting environment, in addition to knowledge of Microsoft Excel at advanced level is a must.
