A growing FMCG company is looking for an experienced Inventory and Warehouse Controller to manage the 3PL warehouse provider ensuring adherence to agreed KPI's, costs and Standard Operating Procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity between 3PL and business systems.



Key Responsibilities:

* Manage inbound and outbound forecasted order volumes to the 3PL to ensure adequate resourcing plans are in place.
* Manage cycle counting processes, analyse discrepancies to understand root cause and prepare monthly adjustment report for internal review and comparison to agreed SLA's with contractor.
* Verify costs received against agreed rates, submit monthly accruals to finance and report reasons for deviation of actual costs to budget.
* Manage Value Added Services at the warehouse: bill of material, quality inspections, return processes and transact inventory movements within the ERP system in a timely manner.
* Monthly reconciliation of stock in transit to physical movement.
* Compile and publish internally weekly KPI reports. Compile monthly KPI reports and compare to agreed SLA and conduct review with 3PL.
* Through analysis of warehouse throughputs, identify opportunities for efficiency gains and for cost reduction.
* Trouble shoot warehouse related issues and ensure timely resolution, understand underlying issues and implement permanent fixes to avoid repeat





Key Skills:

* Degree Educated or equivalent
* A strong understanding of warehouse fulfilment processes in a multi-channel environment.
* Significant systems knowledge with previous experience of integration with external contractors.
* Strong financial acumen - understanding of the accrual process and variance reporting.
* Real attention to detail with the curiosity to investigate and the tenacity to get to the nub of an underlying issue.
* Demonstrable experience of cycle counting regimes, inventory reporting, and variance analysis.
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
