Salary: £26,077 per annum (Plus car allowance £1,200 pa)

Permanent – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Customer Engagement Officer on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Leicester.

Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to build successful relationships at all levels?

Do you have good knowledge of website design with specific knowledge of Umbraco?

Do you have a clear understanding of social housing coupled with an awareness of current housing issues and tenant involvement initiatives?

Are you able to communicate complex and sometimes contentious information effectively to a wide range of audiences?

Do you have the ability to prioritise tasks and plan your own workload to ensure deadlines are met?

Do you have a full, clean licence with access to a car for business use?

Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience within a customer service environment working for a Housing Association or other public service organisation, in a capacity which involved face-to-face interaction with customers?

Working alongside a small team you will deliver high-quality customer focused engagement services across the organisation, to ensure that customers have the opportunity to be effectively involved in developing, shaping and monitoring all services.

You will oversee all functions of customer engagement including communication, marketing and formal consultation within the housing services directorate, ensuring customer engagement makes a difference, is value for money and delivers our Corporate aims.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the promotion, support and development of all involvement approaches, initiating, developing and reviewing new and existing customer engagement mechanisms, assisting in ensuring customer research identifies customers’ needs and local priorities and influences how and what services are delivered and ensuring customers are trained to be able to carry out their duties and responsibilities and to be able to effectively engage with the organisation.
