We are looking to recruit a part-time Female Support Worker (20-25 hpw) to work in our Supported Living service in Keynsham supporting a lady in her own home.  As part of a team, you will also be required to carry out sleep-in duties on a rota basis.

You will be joining a team which supports a lady with learning difficulties and associated mental health issues within her own home. Our aim is to give the person you will be supporting as much control over her own life as possible.

This is a responsible Role which is really varied, can be challenging and is extremely rewarding. the job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices.  

On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:

  • Cooking
  • Cleaning
  • Washing
  • Managing finances
  • Personal care
  • Attending Drs/ hospital appointments
  • Shopping and socialising

And many more.
