As a Curriculum Leader of Health, Social Care and Childcare, you will support the development of the Care provision across the College and support the management team in maximising the use of physical resources and utilisation of staff.
Developing and implementing policies and procedures which support the quality improvement of Care, you will lead members of the team to deliver appropriate curricula and ensure the sharing of good practice; actively leading on quality compliance and improvement for Care and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons.
In addition, you will also act as a course coordinator for a group of programmes and plan and deliver teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and teaching materials.
Applicants for this role must have recent experience of teaching and leading on a range of programmes at level 3 and above, of developing and planning programmes and the Internal Moderation of Care courses. With a relevant degree or professional qualification, you must hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed or PGCE) and have up to date knowledge of current Care standards and the Care industry in general.
