Badenoch & Clark has recently been engaged by a London based Not-For-Profit Social Enterprise regarding their permanent Head of Commissioning requirement. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in strategic commissioning at senior level that is genuinely passionate about encouraging and facilitating a more engaging and cohesive society, with a primary focus on younger communities across the UK.

The Head of Commissioning will lead and build new capability to set out and implement evidenced based outcomes strategies to help shape the future design and delivery of this evolving and rapidly growing enterprise.

You will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining a clear operating model, to support the development of business architecture, and ensure change supports the development of the operating model.
* Ensuring evidence based, outcomes focused, commissioning strategies are developed and implemented to meet the priorities of the enterprise and the young people it serves.
* Facilitating joint working between the enterprise, its delivery network, partners, stakeholders and young people to enable the commissioning of high quality services that grow, deliver and improve their overall footprint.
* Leading and managing a team of Commissioning Specialists to deliver a high quality, flexible and responsive service to internal and external customers.
* Ensuring that commissioning priorities and service specifications are optimised to support, innovate and facilitate improvements to services which maximise effectiveness and value for money.

To be successful you must have:
* A strong track record in leading a Commissioning or Service Delivery function at a senior level.
* A background of commissioning services at a national or regional level.
* Experience or significant understanding of contract management, the procurement of services and budget management.
* The ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* An understanding of the issues involved in delivering services to young people.
* The ability to synthesise and apply evidence and data to commissioning decisions.
