This leading manufacturer is looking to add a quality engineer to its successful engineering team. The role is based within their South Wales production facility, which is currently experiencing a large degree of growth and prosperity. An experienced, career driven quality engineer is therefore required to ensure their recognised standards are upheld throughout the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
oTo co-ordinate and lead problem solving activities for external and internal process/quality issues
oTo co-ordinate the resolution of quality concerns from the receipt of the concern to the verification of countermeasures
oLiaise with suppliers and customers on quality standards
oDrive process improvement activities to ensure quality consistency, as well as process efficiency and effectiveness
oMaintain a structured quality management system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oExperience of working in a highly regulated industry.
oKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
oPrevious experience working within a quality role is essential
