VP - Financial Crime Assurance, EMEA

Dynamic 2nd line Financial Crime testing role, covering all disciplines within FCC (AML, Sanctions, AB&C, Fraud)

The role is based within a newly created testing team, that sits within the EMEA FCC department of a Global Bank. The team covers all business lines, but predominantly IB and Commercial Banking.

The main responsibility includes:

• To conduct thematic Financial Crime reviews based on live, emerging risks within the FCC department. This team is involved in highly responsive work ahead of the pre-agreed FCC monitoring plan and is seen as a critical new piece of infrastructure to keep ahead.
• You will support all business lines, on FCC Testing for their specific reviews.
• You will be providing written reports and findings on FCC risks to the Director of the team, helping to support the prevention of further FCC risks.
• Your work will also involving monitoring Management Information (MI) and key indicators (KI) to provide analytical insight.

The Candidate:

Successful candidates will have experience in FCC Internal Audit or FCC Assurance (Monitoring and Testing), within preferably large Banking Environments (4-5 years minimum)

Whilst candidates with assurance or audit experience are preferred, our client will also consider FCC advisory candidates (assuming they have strong conceptual understanding of controls), or candidates within FCC Consulting for the Big Four and their challengers.
