A great opportunity for a IT support analysts or recent IT graduates to join a manufacturer as 1st/ 2nd line IT Support, based in Bath.
Working as member of the IT department and reporting direct to the IT Manager, this is a newly created role in a close-knit, friendly team. You will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line user support, as well as project support, in an Microsoft environment with c100 users. The role will will include installation and configuration of 3rd party business applications/software, Windows PCs, Peripheral equipment e.g. printers, telephony equipment, plus exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX, as well as a range of adhoc IT technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional who doesn't want to sit at a desk all day, to join a knowledgeable and friendly IT team, in a company renowned for retaining their staff.
The role requires
- 1st line support experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with an aptitude for trouble shooting and fault finding.
- Discretion is paramount in this role as confidential information will be accessible.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with colleagues
Working hours are
07:30 - 16:00 Mon - Thurs
07:30 - 12:30 on Friday
??22,000 - ??28,000 DOE plus 25 days holiday and benefits.
