Postal Walker - Dover

Enjoy the great outdoors? Like the idea of spending part of your working day being "a lone wolf"? We could have just the position for you. We are looking to recruit for one of our largest national contract clients, Royal Mail, who are currently looking to employ additional Postal Delivery Staff to help deliver mail in the Dover and Surrounding Areas . You will need to be involved in prepping and planning your deliveries; so you need to have a methodical approach to working. Once this is completed you will be out delivering post mainly by foot; although vans may be available for more rural areas. Remember this is the UK so the weather is going to be temperamental; hot in the morning, raining by the afternoon and that's July! You will be doing a lot of walking and talking to the general public and clients of the Royal Mail, so if you like a walk and a bit of a chin wag then this position could be right up your street. You need to be available for 27.5 hours per week, the hours are across 6 days Monday to Saturday with generally a day off in the week. You don't need to start until 08:00 and the pay rates are pretty good at GBP8.00 for weekdays and GBP9.00 for Saturdays. Manpower provides free uniform and you get holiday too. Interested?
