LGV 1 Driver

My Client is a leading food business based in Fife. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced LGV 1 Driver to join the team. This is a fast paced and demanding role that requires a confident and capable candidate. This position is an hourly paid rate - GBP10.29, and they will work Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours (shift times to be confirmed) The Role Carryout Mandatory safety walk around checks on each Unit and trailer you drive on the shift you are allocated. Complete and submit the daily walk around check sheet to the transport co-ordinator prior to departure from the depot. Make yourself aware of the vehicle & Trailer service/Inspection/MOT schedule. Attend essential training in order to carry out the driver role. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include the company dress code, Standard operations and Health and Safety Policies at all times. Record and report any Defect found on the vehicle or trailer at the time you check the unit or trailer or if a defect arises during your duty time. Ensure you monitor your working hours and driving hours to ensure you are 100% compliant with both 48 hour working time directive and driver hour regulations at all times The Candidate Be flexible, co-operative and able to demonstrate good communication skillsBe able to work within a well-established teamPossess a current Class 1 LGV licencePossess a current CPC-DQC licencePossess a clean driving licencePossess a current Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
