ARCHIES BAR & KITCHEN, LEEDS - CHEF DE PARTIE
Ossett Brewery are looking for experienced Chef de Partie to work in their new central Leeds venue.
The venue boasts brand new kitchen facilities in an open plan design facilitating pizza preparation in full view of the customer. Our innovative menu consists of rustic style pizzas, traditional pub classics and internationally influenced a la carte dining using fresh, local and seasonal produce.
Our ideal candidates would demonstrate
•Previous experience in a similar role
•Friendly, sociable and welcoming to our customers.
•Maintaining accurate food ordering and stocking level including all kitchen materials. Managing wastage & portion control.
•Maintenance of equipment, working safely around the kitchen, monitoring and dealing with issues.
•Opening and closing of the kitchen
•Cleanliness & hygiene of the kitchen and associated areas. Strict adherence to Food Safety standards.
•Organised and able to prioritise workloads.
•Adherence to company policy and procedures.
•Previous fresh dough pizza experience preferred as well as experience of a fast paced pizza kitchen.
•Ability to work in a busy kitchen as part of a large team
•Carefully managing the preparation and production of highest quality dishes
•Supervision, training and development of other team members such as Commis Chef.
•Organised and able to prioritise workloads.
•A good communicator who understands of how vital the relationship is between kitchen and front of house teams.
•Confident leader in charge of your specific section
•Not afraid of hands on prep
•Great cooking skills with a passion for food
