THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap are delighted to be working with a growing business based in Mansfield. They are looking for a Product Marketing Manager.
THE JOB:
- Manage the ongoing analysis of all product lines. Identifying trends, opportunities and risks then implementing and measuring corrective actions.
- Manage the product lifecycle of the companies range - identifying product gaps, phase in/outs and archiving.
- Run the day to day activity on the New Product Introduction (NPI) process across all departments.
- Coordinate all new product briefs and provide market research.
- Gather competitor intelligence and use this to inform the product process and train sales.
- Brief SKU selections, stock quantities and pricing to Operations
- Manage accuracy and distribution of product data via web, data sheets, sales documents, marketing documents etc.
- Liaise with suppliers to gather product insight and information.
- Prepare and deliver effective product training and briefing documents to sales and customers.
- Plan product launches and work with the marketing communications coordinator to implement and measure effectiveness.
- Manage daily pricing queries and coordinate price increase/decrease in the system and subsequent analysis.
THE PERSON:
- Previous product marketing experience is essential within technical or construction industries
- Experience of handling a variety of people across one project, effectively, positively and with strength
- Experience working in a commercial environment
- Ability to consistently push a project forward over time, overcoming obstacles whilst remaining positive and motivated
- Ability to think commercially and prioritise activity based on value to the business
- Ability to confidently present and train people on product features/benefits/selling stories
- Ability to produce fast, accurate work
- Marketing/business qualifications would provide a good background to the role.
