Junior Buyer - FMCG

Zachary Daniels are recruiting for a Junior Buyer for a fast paced retailer based near Manchester. The client are one of the top FMCG retailers who are undergoing a complete restructuring and expansion process and they are looking for top talent to join them and help take them in a new direction. The business is extremely fast paced with an entrepreneurial feel supporting new ideas and professional growth in its staff. As the Junior Buyer you will be responsible for supporting on the Grocery and Beauty category where you will work closely with both the Buyer and the Assistant Buyer to produce an excellent branded range. You will manage all aspects of your own ranges as well as contacting suppliers to manage the critical path on quick lead times of 2 weeks to get stock to store. We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Buyer who is really passionate about buying and wants to progress their career quickly within the FMCG / supermarket sector. You must be of university graduate calibre and prepared to work hard, play hard.
