Watson Evans Associates are working with a thriving accountancy practice based in Plymouth that is seeking an Accounts Technician to join their team.
The position has been created as the practice continues to grow, and the successful person will be joining an established team based in a central location. As it is a new position, we are able to consider applications from people who are seeking either full or part time work. The salary offered in the first instance is likely to be between GBP16,000 and GBP22,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
Working as part of an efficient team, duties will include:
- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Personal tax returns
- VAT
- Client bookkeeping
The successful candidate will have recent experience of working in accountancy practice, ideally 3 years+ and preferably will be AAT qualified. It could be advantageous to have had some payroll experience, but this is not essential.
