The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) was established by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and advises on UK and international conservation issues. We currently have the following vacancy in our Peterborough Office.
HR Officer
Fixed term post, for two years
Salary GBP21,946
Ref. Post No: 2017/11
We are looking to recruit a HR Officer in our Peterborough office. HR is part of the corporate services providing support across the JNCC to managers and employees on a wide range of matters. With the exception of training and development and payroll, which are provided by Civil Service Learning and a government shared service contract, all HR services are in-house.
This new post reports to the HR Adviser & Team Supervisor and will provide additional resource within the HR administration team, to ensure that an efficient and effective service is maintained.
Ideally with some knowledge of the principles, policies and procedures of HR work, candidates should have experience of regularly assisting and supporting the implementation and enhancement of systems. This will be supported by a proven ability in providing regular management information for both our internal and external customers.
