USER RESEARCHER - Digital - Newcastle - Government-INSIDE IR35

My Client is looking for a User Researcher to work on a contract basis in Newcastle.

They require:

Proven track record of web user centered design practices
Proven track record of gathering insight for web based services
Proven track record of managing, executing and analysing usability test sessions
Proven track record of collaborative working with User Experience teams, designers and developers to create new digital products and services
Proven track record of developing design personas, working with complex user journeys
Experience in using a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business issues and needs into relevant, actionable research plans and objectives
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills; ability to draw and present sound conclusions based on qualitative and quantitative evidence in order to influence the best outcome
Ability to work effectively across Departmental and other boundaries.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience of collaborative working in an agile development environment
Prototyping skills

Qualification or relevant experience in a related field would be useful such as:

Usability/Market Research/Social Research/Psychology/HCI
