Web Developer - PHP

The candidate will have either a relevant degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.) or applicable work experience

What the role involves:

- Developing the company's new and existing web-based products which will involve handling feature requests, improvements, bug fixes, change requests and framework updates.
- Working directly with other software developers, designers, testers, product experts, development manager and the technical director.
- Contributing to regular code reviews

Essential skills and knowledge:

- PHP 7
- MySQL
- JavaScript
- OOP and MVC experience
- GIT
- Experience working with API's

Other desirable and advantageous skills and knowledge:

- Laravel or similar framework experience
- Front-end build automation (Gulp, Grunt)
- Development of RESTful services (JSON, XML)
- Unit Testing/Test Driven Development
- Experience with Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Sourcetree)
