My client is a well-established, market leader in the supply of specialist building products in to the construction sector in the UK and Globally. My client has seen remarkable year on year growth and as a result, has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join their successful team based in Leeds.
Main Responsibilities
- The main focus of the role is to develop the company business through Main and sub-contractors, and to contribute to shaping and delivering integrated solutions to maximise long-term growth opportunities.
- You are responsible for the internal sales team - motivating them to drive sales and service
- Alongside the Branch Director, you will assess market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities of Construction accessory products e.g. waterproofing, drainage reinforcement and sealants/resins
- Bring out the best of branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence and business opportunities
- The role is internally based but you will be required to visit clients / contractors to discuss orders etc. in the local area, liaising with the Sales / Branch network.
The Requirements:
- ??You must have experience and knowledge within Construction products (ideally within the civils/drainage sector), and it is just as important to have experience of dealing with Contractors in the region.
- A technical competency ability into a sales environment is essential, a bespoke engineered solution which ensures results via specification.
- An excellent relationship builder.
- Based on patch on or be easily accessible to the branch in Leeds.
- You should be a proficient presenter using PowerPoint and be comfortable and competent negotiating at board level.
- Have sound analytical capabilities combined with acute attention to detail and planning.
- Be able to develop and build on an existing client base / portfolio
- An aspiring, target driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic "do it now" attitude towards your work is essential.
