Apprentice / Training Administrator / Analyst
This is a great opportunity to join an L&D team operating in a dynamic environment with scope for growth, development and a career in L&D.
There are 2 options for this exciting role:-
Training Administrator / Analyst: Full time employee working 5 days per week (salary range 15,500 - 18,000)
Apprentice Administrator: Working 4 days per week with 1 day per week study in Business Administration (salary range 10,555 - 15,000 depending on experience)
Summary of Role
To support the Learning & Development department in the effective running of both online and face-to-face training through system support, reporting and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
To manage individual and bulk enrollments across the suite of courses using our LMS.
To support individuals with course access where appropriate.
To manage courses in the LMS, ensuring active courses are visible and historic courses are effectively archived.
To actively support the HR function with logistics surrounding our learning programmes.
To ensure a smooth new starter process for both online enrollments and course logistics.
To run regular reports utilising a range of MI on the quantity and quality of training.
To identify trends from the reporting data and make suggestions/recommendations for improvements.
To coordinate key L&D programmes.
To follow up with delegates who have reported problems/concerns following their evaluation feedback.
To work collaboratively with key stakeholders, within HR and within the business as required.
To effectively prioritise workload to identify and meet priorities that are value adding
Communicate the quarterly programmes to the business.
Critical Knowledge & Experience (non time-related): professional / technical
Must have:
Administration experience, utilising systems.
Strong communication skills, confident and capable of working with stakeholders.
Strong team player, engaging, confident and flexible in approach, with a passion for quality.
Knowledge of learning technologies and their contribution to delivering blended learning.
Self-motivated and self-managed; ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal coaching or supervision.
Ideally a working knowledge of a Cloud based Learning Management System (e.g. Totara), Google Sites and Google Apps.
Key Relationships:
The role holder must be able to credibly and confidently communicate with stakeholders within their own function and on occasion with directors from other parts of the business:
Within own function;
All HR colleagues with strong connectivity and collaborative working with;
Online L&D Manager
L&D Manager
Editorial L&D Manager
L&D Specialist
Across other functions
All relevant, key business stakeholders e.g. IT, Sales directors/PAs
External suppliers (e.g. Totara)
