SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER / LEAD PRINCIPAL DEVELOPER
SALARY: ??70,000 to ??75,000 PLUS INCENTIVES AND BENEFITS
LOCATION: GLOUCESTERSHIRE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software Development Team Leader / Lead Principal Developer to join and lead a talented development team within a tech house running a high-transactional platform.
This opportunity would suit a Lead Developer (or Principal Developer that has lead a team) that has remained slightly hands-on, has exceptional core Java skills and abilities, ideally gained within a project / system integrator / solution provider capacity.
The business operates a high-transnational, state of the art, tech heavy platform that integrates into the systems of clients. The suitable Software Development Team Leader / Lead Principal Developer will need to have a solid understanding of complex platforms that integrate into a broad range of platforms and systems to facilitate a very high level of traffic.
As a Software Development Team Leader / Lead Principal Developer you will hold the following skills and abilities:
- Must have 4 - 6 years plus year of experience as a Java Developer
- Must have excellent core Java development skills
- JDK 6+ (and above) / Spring or JEE
- Maven 3
- JPA or Hibernate
- Unit and integration testing
- Excellent knowledge of TDD
- Good understanding of common web application patterns
- SOAP and REST
- Test Driven Development
- Spring Integration or similar (Mule ESB, Camel)
