Are you an experienced Marketing Manager looking for an opportunity within the exciting & fast paced Media industry? This is a challenging role where you can be both creative & strategic, bringing new ideas that will grow our audiences both domestically & internationally. This is a full time fixed-term maternity cover for 10 months.

Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:

- Manage a team of five staff : two marketing coordinators, two telemarketing, & one verification executive

- Manage suppliers to source new data and leads for outbound campaign through desk research, partnerships and list broking.

- To develop a marketing program and campaigns which will grow Citywire's global database of global fund buyers

- Write, edit and sign off on communications materials - ads, emails, newsletters.

- Working with Citywire's editorial and design team produce content in suitable formats which will drive high numbers of online registrations

- Using Citywire's data on fund manager and fund buyer activity to generate new marketing and content ideas

- Tailoring and targeting campaigns to Citywire's fund buyer audiences in our key target markets: The UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Asia, The Americas

- Taking ownership of the annual marketing budget to spend on activities with high levels of ROI

- Closely tracking and reporting on the efficacy of marketing campaigns

- Developing marketing best practice guidelines, both globally and locally

What you'll need:

- You will have at least three years' experience in a similar marketing role.

- Management or team leader experience

- Ideally you will have experience in generating high volumes of online subscriptions through integrated marketing campaigns

- Proficiency in running successful email, PR, social media and print marketing campaigns

- Experience in building media partnerships is also desirable

- Financial services, Media or Publishing experience advantageous

- You will have the initiative and confidence to be drive a successful department
