Test and Inspection Assistant

The Company

Our client offers to the market both UK manufactured and imported goods which are then sold worldwide to showrooms, designers and other clients. The client now has their own sales distribution operations in 3 countries, managing more than 17,000 square metres, (185,000 square feet) of warehousing and production space. The company have a team of more than 100 committed staff! 

Key Duties

• Testing of lights to L/A approval – including electrical and visual inspections
• Thorough inspection of all light components to ensure a 1^st class quality product is received by the customer
• Report faulty product to Supervisor and/or Quality Manager
• Record products tested both for stock and reject records
• Cleanliness of own work area

Job Role Requirements

• Practical skill set including eye for detail and the ability to make remedial repairs
• Ability to lift medium to heavy items
• Assist in any other area as required by the Company from time to time.
• Conduct all work and operations in compliance with normal Health and Safety practices and procedures.
