Interim Senior Compliance Analyst - Wales

We are recruiting on behalf of a financial services business who are looking to hire an Interim Senior Compliance Analyst for their Wales based offices. This contract is expected to last c. 6 months and the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the activities of the Wales branch comply with the requirements of all relevant UK regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide Compliance support and guidance to the business. Be a technical reference point in respect of the FCA handbook requirements including CONC, ICOBS, SYSC, DISP and the FCA principles including treating customers fairly.
• Work in conjunction with International Operations to prepare and maintain a GDPR strategy and policies throughout the organisation.
• Identify and track existing/new regulatory developments, including assessing impact and communicating change to the Board and relevant business units.
• Undertake monitoring reviews, analyze results and provide support to management to make appropriate changes to controls/procedures as required.

The ideal candidate will have previously held responsibility of a data management role and have experience in data protection and AML. You will be expected to provide advice and support to senior management on all aspects of Compliance and UK regulations which can impact the businesses current and future operations.
