They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Support Technician to join their team based in Corby.
Working as part of the operations team, operating within the framework of HACCP, you will ensure that all product is manufactured safely and to the agreed customer specifications. Within the role, you will verify effectiveness of daily deep cleaning through inspection and rapid hygiene routine environmental swabbing. Carrying out appropriate pre-production checks to ensure timeliness of start up, you will collect Key Performance Indicator data with a view to developing statistical measurement of business performance.
Candidates for this role will collect microbiological samples against sampling plan coupled with conducting investigation and ensuring appropriate corrective action in the event of customer complaints. Organising daily product monitoring analysis panels to verify conformance to specification and compile data for further analysis.
The Quality Support Technician will use the daily production plan and raw materials sheets, making certain all retail products and part processed raw materials are collected for microbiological and shelf life analysis. Conducting quality checks, you will guarantee all shelf life samples are kept for the duration of their life against time/temperature regimes and ensuring the area where they are stores is kept clean and free from out of date samples. Reporting any out of specification results you will guarantee microbiological samples are sent out against the predefined schedules coupled with logging the samples onto the LIMS system and sending the registration files to the External Laboratory.
A proficient user of IT, you will be systematic in your approach with a good attention to detail. Candidates for this role will hold previous knowledge of technical systems covering food safety, legality and quality.
