Health & Safety Officer
We are working on behalf of The Alan Nuttall Partnership Limited to fill this vacancy. This position is based in Dudley.
The Alan Nuttall Partnership Ltd specialises in interior fit-out and retail display. With almost 1 million square feet of dedicated production and logistics space, they design, manufacture and install signage, interiors and display equipment for all areas of food, retail, leisure, commercial, education and healthcare. Offering unique in-house testing facilities and extensive prototyping resources, they remain at the forefront of new product development, whilst offering tailored solutions built to your specification.
Our business in Dudley is looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join our fast-paced business. The role will involve being the first point of contact for the HSE Department. Managing and administrating various databases to ensure that training requirements and HSE competencies are met.
As a Health and Safety Admin Officer, your duties include:
- Supporting the Health and Safety Manager with setting and enforcing policy and good practise throughout the business
- Assisting with all aspects of HSE training
- General administration duties
An ideal Health and Safety Officer will have the following skills and experience:
- IOSH Managing Safely
- NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ level 3 (preferred but not essential)
- Good organisation skills
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer skills, especially Excel and Word
- Good attention to detail and accuracy within their work
- Competent typing / keyboard skills
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, will be an advantage
