BECOME A CUSTOMER SERVICE HERO AND JOIN THE YELLOW JOURNEY!

When you become part of our team at Yellow Lettings, you’ll join our mission to delight and care for our customers in the North West, making sure they feel like they’re getting the best service and attention at all times.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to play a key role for one of the fastest-growing companies in the property sector – a company that’s obsessive about customer service, and not afraid to do things a bit differently.

As a customer service hero, you’ve got no time for “bog-standard”: you make it your mission to exceed all expectations and wow everyone you come into contact with. You relish the idea of being the face of our company in the North West, and you want to help us deliver a remarkable standard of service to both potential and current tenants.

ABOUT US

Yellow Lettings offers a full lettings and management service across 6 major cities within the UK, and we’re expanding rapidly into new markets. We have over 400 properties under management, with around 120 in the North West region.

Across the country, we have a network of representatives (like you, hopefully!) who conduct viewings and inspections, and who also look after our tenants by assisting with any issues that crop up.

Rather than having high street shopfronts, our “head office” team works remotely – so there’s no need for you to report into an office between appointments.

If you’re worried about missing out office banter and chat, don’t be: camaraderie is alive and well via online chat, video calls, training days and more. The only difference is you don’t have to put up with noisy eaters or catching the office lurgy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll spend your time out and about, meeting potential and current tenants and ensuring our properties are presented in the best possible way. In between appointments, you’ll use your time to update information and report back on progress.

Much of your time will be spent in Greater Manchester, but your patch also covers as far afield as Liverpool, Chester, Preston and Wrexham.

No two days will be the same: you’ll be covering a lot of ground showing people around properties, conducting inventories and inspecting our existing stock. Using our technology and systems, you’ll use your smartphone (provided by us) to receive job information and communicate your progress back to the rest of the team.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Showing prospective tenants around our properties
  • Conducting property inventories and inspections
  • Checking tenants into their new homes
  • Assisting tenants with any issues that crop up
  • Reporting promptly and effectively with the rest of the team
  • Helping us find better ways of doing things (if there are ways in which we can improve our customers’ experiences or make your job easier, we want to know)

ABOUT YOU

You’ve previously been successful in a face-to-face customer service role and are friendly, enthusiastic, and confident communicating with people from all walks of life. Any experience you have related to the property, lettings or construction industries will be an advantage, but not necessary.

You’re highly organised, and have an efficient, can-do attitude: you pride yourself on completing tasks on time and have strong admin skills too. You have high personal standards that are reflected in everything you do.

You’re happy working with minimal supervision, and use your initiative to proactively respond to changing priorities and conditions.

You’re comfortable with new technology, and enjoy following processes to get the best results.

As the role involves a lot of travel, you will require your own car and a full, clean driving licence.

HOURS AND PAY

You will be required to work 37 hours per week. The nature of the job means that it will be necessary to regularly work some early evenings and some Saturday mornings .

You will be paid an annual salary of £17,316, plus reimbursement of your travel expenses.

If you’re ready for an exciting new challenge with a company that’s going places, then we’d love to hear from you.
