We currently have an opportunity for a Water Compliance Manager to join our team based in Livingston with UK travel. Within the role, you will guarantee and verify compliance with Mears internal policies and procedures of Water Systems through monitoring and testing in commercial and domestic properties. Making certain all Reactive and PPM water operations are undertaking within Mears Operational requirements, you will ensure and verify compliance with Legionella Control Association Code of Conduct in line with Mears LCA Allocation of Responsibilities.

Assisting in the broader service delivery across contracts as necessary, you will organise and assist in the compiling and production of various reports such as Lifecycle Condition Surveys, Risk Assessment and various other specific projects when required. Candidates for this position will support in providing estimates for additional works whilst guaranteeing and verifying relevant contract standards and KPI’S, exceeding external and internal compliance. Complying with Health and Safety requirements, you will promote the highest level of customer care at all times. The successful Water Compliance Manager will make certain all company systems and procedures are implemented alongside verifying the installation and routine maintenance to water systems. Ensuring compliance with Contract requirements and Mears policies within water systems management in commercial and domestic properties, you will guarantee and exceed standards to comply with LCA Code of Conduct and Mears FM Statement of Compliance.

With previous experience of maintaining a commercial building operation within both private and public sector environments such as residential accommodation, educational premises, offices and places of work and social housing. The successful Water Compliance Manager will hold L8 ACOP/ HSG 274 experience and training coupled with City and Guilds BS standard qualifications in water management, risk assessment, responsible persons. You will have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance, preferably gained within a third-party maintenance provider. With experience of undertaking water management audits, you will hold in-depth knowledge within a water system monitoring or risk assessment regime. Candidates for this position will possess knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in the building maintenance industry coupled with the ability prepare relevant documentation and guide colleagues. Above all, we are looking for a candidate who has the motivation to succeed in our thriving business. A level of flexibility is needed for this position as the role may involve working longer hours and overnight stays.

Candidates for this role must hold a full clean driving licence.
