Supply Chain Coordinator An interesting and unique opportunity has become available for a dynamic Supply Chain Coordinator to work with an important and globally renowned manufacturing company based in Cheltenham.As Supply Chain Coordinator you will be flexible and able to travel to various company locations across the UK when required, to meet the needs of the business. As Supply Chain Coordinator you will progress your career within the business and will need to have the potential to develop as a replacement for the current Supply Chain Manager in a 3-5 year timescale. Role Description The Supply Chain Coordinator will: * Support the Supply Chain Manager in monitoring all aspects of Supply Chain activity across the UK sites. * Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to drive continuous improvements to add value to the business. * Support systems use by advising on any opportunities to enhance the processes. * Management of a wide range of Supply Chain Activities such as forecasting, demand management, stock control, subcontracting and raw material purchases. Profile The Ideal candidate will: * Have the potential to be an outstanding leader in a highly demanding and flexible business. * Be a good communicator and be prepared to do what is needed to get the job done, being self managing and driven to succeed. * Have aspirations to secure a Manager/Director level role in the medium term future. * Be able to deliver own & deliver projects within Supply Chain and represent the department where required in broader site/business level projects. * Already have a grounding in Manufacturing led Supply Chain. * Have exceptional system skills, including being an advance level user of excel. * Is able to demonstrate that they can interpret high volumes of data. * High level of analytical skills. * Autonomous decision making and problem solving skills.* Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. * Ability to manage a broad range of Supply Chain activities and prioritise accordingly. * Previous knowledge and experience of MRP / ERP applications such as AX Dynamics / SAP. * The successful candidate will have transport and hold a full UK driving licence due to the client being a Multi Site operation. * The job can often require being on a different site every day of the week, so significant mileage and occasional nights staying away from home will be required.
