Regional Training & Development Manager

Connaught Resourcing Ltd is urgently seeking a Training & Development Manager for a company who deal with providing training and development to refugees within the Bristol and Birmingham region.The role will be responsible for the training budget including the strategic decision making regarding the choice of utilising training providers and the opportunity to continuously improve the training function of the group. The successful candidate will enjoy an autonomous role with budgetary control and strategic decision making in the materials selected, direction of training delivery and delivery of the processes. Previous training design and delivery is essential for this role and training qualifications are advantageous but experience will also be taken into account when reviewing applications.This role would be suitable for an experienced Manager with a Work Based Learning or Further Education background used to managing a team of trainers / assessors preferably with previous experience in employability, functional skills, accredited vocational and professional training. Proven track record of achieving towards targets and leading a team performance is essential. Whilst you will not be expected to sell, candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound level of commerciality. Connaught Resourcing operates as an Employment Business and an Employment Agency.
