Primary teacher job near Shepton Mallet, Key Stage 2, ??22,244 - ??32,831 Your new companyYou will be working in a lovely primary school based in the Shepton Mallet area that has passed as a 'Good' school during the last Ofsted report. As part of a well organised Key Stage 1 team you will be working in a school that plays an active role in the local community, whilst nurturing the future of the community. Your new roleYour new role will be in a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, with 25 students in the class, and you will enjoy the support of your own class Teaching Assistant. The position is available from Easter for 5 weeks and is a 3 day a week role (Mon - Weds). You would be expected to take on additional responsibilities of staff meetings and planning, marking and assessment. This role will begin in April 2017 with a possibility of the 5 week role being extended in to a permanent role. What you'll need to succeedYou must be a creative and fun teacher with a strong, sound understanding of the National Curriculum. You will have the responsibilities that a full teacher would expect. Key Stage 1 experience is desirable but not necessary. Strong English and Maths skills are required.
