Research & Development ManagerTaunton, SomersetMonday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm??30,000 to ??35,000 + 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Staff Canteen + Free Parking.Research & Development Manager position available in a well respected and secure manufacturer whose products can be found in all major retailers.The successful candidate will be degree qualified in any science/chemical engineering background. You will have several years' experience in an FMCG manufacturing and research environment. You will also have experience of managing your own team. Your role will be to develop innovative products for the consumer market through research and test of raw materials. You will be based within a laboratory and have a small team of 3 technicians who report in directly to you. You will also be required to keep up to date with all legislation and report back on your research to other departments.The company are an international manufacturer that develops thousands of products each year. The company researches, designs and develops its products and are growing year on year.
