TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Salary – SO1 FTE- £25,951 - £27,668
Full time – term time plus 10 days
New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (MAT) presently comprises New Bridge School, New Bridge Learning Centre, Spring Brook Academy, the Springboard Project and Hollinwood Academy. We support the learning, social and pastoral needs of over 700 young people aged between 4 and 19 years. In addition, we also offer a 19-25 years provision, New Bridge Horizons. All the components form the New Bridge Group. The lead school of the Learning for All Teaching School Alliance is New Bridge School.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and resilient Training and Development Manager to co-ordinate training and development across the New Bridge Group and lead on the day to day running of the Learning for All Teaching School Alliance. This is a very exciting opportunity to work amongst a group of dynamic and forward thinking schools within the MAT, as well as our Learning for All Alliance school partners in the Greater Manchester area. It is a key role within the training and development team and demands exceptional people skills and customer focused attention to detail, together with energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to go the extra mile.
The post will initially be based at Hollinwood Academy but will require travel to other sites within the Group and alliance partner schools. The training and development team will consist of the Director of Training and Development, the Training and Development Manager and the Training and Development Administrator, further supported by a team of peer mentors from across the New Bridge Group. Key aspects of the role:
- Provide high quality, day to day management for the Learning for All Alliance.
- Co-ordinate training and development across the New Bridge Group, liaise with trainers and course delegates in an effective and professional manner and provide a sophisticated level of administrative and logistical support.
- Autonomous working, data capture and manipulation and presentation skills.
- Undertake the development and successful submission of applications for Teaching School funding bids and write reports on training and development activity.
- Work efficiently and successfully to deadline and under pressure and be an effective multi tasker.
- Develop training and development marketing and promotional materials.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the Director of Training and Development.

Actual salary: £22,566 - £24,059 per annum
Hours of work: 36 hours 40 minutes per week term time plus 10 days
