LOCATION: Kettering, Northamptonshire
JOB TITLE: Audit and Accounts Semi Seniors
SALARY & BENEFITS: circa GBP20,000 - GBP27,000 dependent on skills & experience plus benefits
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 09:00am - 5:30pm
THE COMPANY: Our client who were established in 1910 are a proactive and friendly firm of chartered accountants situated in Kettering, Northamptonshire who provide their clients with expert accounting and a range of other business services, ranging from auditing to exit planning.
They are a a vibrant company who hold staff satisfaction in high regard, so if you have a private practice accountancy background and are looking for a new rewarding challenge then our clients want to hear from you a they seek new Audit and Accounts Semi Seniors to join their existing team. You will be supported within this role with your development and a valued member of a busy existing team.
THE ROLE: As a Audit and Accounts Semi Senior you will be responsible in going out to visit businesses to audit and record findings accurately. The role will also cover a range of accountancy tasks so will also consist of carrying out general bookkeeping duties, completing VAT returns , preparation accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities and companies and a range of other accountancy tasks on an ad hoc bais.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Audit and Accounts Semi Senior positions must have relevant private practice experience and must be accurate and have a keen eye for detail. You should be well educated and highly organised. Any relevant accountancy qualifications would be desirable. You must be a positive team player who can work well with all types of people and someone who is looking to develop within this role.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Audit and Accounts Semi Seniors role in Kettering, Northamptonshire :-
- Must have relevant private practice experience
- Must be a positive person who can work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to commute to or live in Kettering
- Driving Licence is essential
- Any relevant AAT or other accountancy qualifications would be welcome
