As a Systems Analyst, what will the role entail?

Reporting to the Enterprise Applications and Systems Manager and working as part of an applications team of five, you will provide first line support for the company’s Enterprise Systems, in particular Microsoft AX2009 ERP and PTC Windchill PDM Link packages. Other duties will include;

  • Consolidating and optimising the functionality of both the AX and PDM Link systems across the site and delivering measured improvements for the business
  • Writing requirement specifications and developing and implementing processes and procedures to optimise internal business systems
  • Working with users at a variety of levels and liaising closely with colleagues in the Application Team

What will I need to be considered for this Systems Analyst role?

  • Minimum of one years’ experience with MRPII, and supporting and maintaining ERP applications
  • IT degree or equivalent level of IT training
  • Experience using Product Data Management systems
  • Knowledge of the software lifecycle and modern analysis / development technologies
  • Experience dealing with third party software suppliers 
  • Ability to work with internal business project teams to deliver quality and timely results
  • Customer focus and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
  • A good understanding of development methodologies
  • High self-motivation and the ability to deliver a high level of customer support

The following attributes are desirable, but not essential;

  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 Functional Application 
  • SQL Server Database experience
  • Supply chain knowledge
  • Change Management and Implementation
  • Knowledge of Business Improvement Initiatives e.g. Kaizen
  • AS9100 awareness and/or experience

Salary: £25,493 - £34,821 per annum, level dependent on experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm and Friday, 8am to 12pm
