Senior Transport Planner (development planning)

Penguin is recruiting on behalf of an ambitious transport planning consultancy who are looking to further the growth of their Sheffield based team. Working closely with the Associate of the team, you will take lead on a range of developments include site appraisal, scheme development, detailed design and planning applications.
Job Specification
- Degree level education or equivalent;
- Experience with AutoCAD design;
- 5+ years' experience within transport planning, specifically development planning;
- Familiar with Arcady, Picady & LinSig;
- Strong communication & presentation skills;
- Project management experience.
You will rapidly become a key part of a successful team in the Yorkshire region who have ambitions to further this growth. Such is the success of the team, shortly after appointment you will also be involved in recruiting further technical staff to work beneath you. You will be heavily involved in the development of the more junior staff in the team and have the opportunity to progress on to Principal and Associate level within the team.
