Job Title / Position: Chief Rainmaker (Senior Sales – New Business)

Reporting to: CEO

Location: London or Brighton (minimum of 1 day every two weeks in Brighton office)

Our client, an established, agile, U.K.-based innovator in the field of InsurTech, satellite imaging technologies, catastrophe risk modelling and climate change / predictive risk analytics is actively seeking an exceptional individual to join their senior management team. You are a person that sets personal and professional goals which you know how to achieve through hard work, dedication and an interest in new technology, science and business.

This role will take your career in new directions and will expose you to some of the leading technologists, executives and thought leaders in this industry. You should have a minimum of 4-5 years relevant sales experience of selling a high value product/ service to medium / large, companies that has involved multi-level contact across different business functions of the client’s business. Your experience, presentation and problem solving skills provide you with a strong ability to oversee and drive forward the sales cycle using your initiative at all times to ensure that the sale continues to move in a positive direction.

You enjoy travelling, both in the U.K. and internationally to secure new business and product sales at C-level across sectors as varied as (re)insurance, utilities, and government.

As an exceptional communicator who is intuitive, self-motivated, organised and persuasive you will be able to generate new business off your own back via your own research and an ability to identify a definite customer need for which our client can provide a solution.

Within 2-3 years you should expect to join the executive team having demonstrated a consistent ability to grow new business pipelines, make rain and close deals. 2017 will be a very exciting one for the right candidate – helping to drive forward the evolution of our client’s business from a company focussing on flood to one that is poised to grow in the new Insurtech space.
