Following a significant investment, the factory meets our growing manufacturing and logistics needs and provides us with a southern facility closer to our fastest growing customer base. That's where you come in.What will I be responsible for???Reporting to the Planning & Materials Manager, the successful Officer will be responsible for supporting the site to deliver best in class and flexible manufacturing performance in accordance with business objectives and strategic plans. Your responsibilities will include:- Ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging to support manufacturing plans- Assisting with the management of all PI counts daily- Assisting investigation into any discrepancies- Liaising with suppliers on quality problems and with other manufacturing sites to supply raw materials which will help to optimise group stock holdings.- Supporting the warehouse management control system and team.Who are we looking for?As our ideal Planning and Materials Officer, will have excellent numeracy and communication skills. You will have a high level of computer literacy and a methodical and logical approach. You will have excellent attention to detail with real focus on accuracy, will work hard to ensure a right first time approach and will have the ability to spot discrepancies and inaccuracies with ease. Ideally you will have purchasing experience and/or a background in FMCG.
