The business is growing and changing, and we're now looking for a Head of HR to assist in taking the business to the next level. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person, who will have the chance to put their own stamp on the HR department as they put in place world-class processes. A good salary package is on offer for the right candidate. The role will lead a small team to carry out the full range of HR activities, whilst also providing operational support as necessary. There will be a particular emphasis on designing and implementing the HR strategy, bringing HR best practice into the business, and ensuring employee engagement and development is at the forefront. Of primary importance is that the successful person is driven to achieve and has a real passion for being the best they can be. We want to win awards for our working practices! The role will report directly to the MD and will work closely with the business and management teams. This is a 24-hour operation and the role is fundamental to the success of the business, which means that it's not always going to be a 9 to 5 job. There will be flexibility in the working hours, but the expectation is that you will be at the MD's side when it really matters. Essential duties and responsibilities: The role needs a dynamic, self-starter with impeccable attention to detail, and a drive to deliver and meet deadlines. A real HR superstar who relishes both the strategic and operational aspects of the HR role and is as happy assisting a manager with a difficult employee as they are formulating the HR strategy and direction.Practical knowledge of the HR requirements of a growth environment and an understanding of the challenges this can bring, as well as the proven ability to overcome any challenges.A very high standard of written and verbal communication, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and make sometimes difficult concepts understood.Demonstrable evidence of having designed and delivered on projects, ranging from the introduction of a new policy right through to a full reorganisation.Managing against targets with evidence of regular achievement, or preferably exceeding, of targets.A passion for delighting the client. Also important: Experience of operating within a senior HR role is most important, but a degree level qualification or equivalent would be idealClient relationship management skillsExperience of managing a budgetTeam management, including detailed performance management and talent managementStrong IT skills - MS Office, and preferably competence with MS ProjectPresentation skillsExperience of providing high quality performance metrics and MIAbility to identify areas for improvement and development To apply or for more information please call .
