Whilst creating their high-quality technology, the company have developed relationships with the top players within the rail industry of which they design, install and maintain machinery to uphold train carriages. They have developed a strong reputation for their expertise, and are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their ever-growing team!
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, you would need to be a driven individual and can demonstrate experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as liaising with the client is crucial. The company are looking for someone who can work hard under pressure and can work to strict deadlines quickly, efficiently, and accurately - is this person you?
ABOUT THE JOB
Your day-to-day duties will include (but are not limited to) preparing and submitting documentation to meet client requirements using Eplan and design packages, as well as preparing design drawings from sketches through to final submission and altering when necessary. You will also be required to liaise with the client on a regular basis with requirement to attend external meetings and site visits. You will also need to work with the estimating/commercial team to assist with proposals and quotations.
REQUIREMENTS
* Experience using design packages
* Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
* Engineering qualification desirable
* Be self-motivated and able to demonstrate experience of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
* Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
THE PACKAGE
* Excellent salary dependent on experience
* 20 days' holiday + 8 days' bank holiday which increase with service
