Senior PR and Corporate Communications Manager - Asset Manager

A fantastic opportunity for experienced Asset Management PR professionals to join a dynamic and impressive communications team assisting with strategic decisions and the implementation of media relations and corporate communications activities across the UK and EMEA. Based in lovely offices in the heart of the West End.

Senior PR and Corporate Communications Manager's key responsibilities:

• Public Relations Management - acting as an authoritative spokesperson for the business. Develop and execute external communications plans to support the business across multiple geographies. This includes carefully placing articles in the press, managing supporting PR agencies, maintaining good contacts with the press, managing press inquiries and providing comments from the company on news items. If needed, be able to manage crisis communications.
• Content Management - writing press releases, answering Q&A's and producing timely reactions to industry news. Management of the company's website and social media pages.
• Corporate Communications - supporting the announcement and distribution of company wide information, including financial results, both internally and externally.
• Internal Communications - supporting team members and HR teams globally on the communications of external activities to the business
• Managing press relationships - working closely with trade and national press to strategically place articles in the public eye
• Agency Management - working with external PR agencies, educating them about the business and working on promotional campaigns and communications projects with them
• Budget Management and Reporting - for the UK offices, ensuring there is daily monitoring of the press and that any key information is fed back to the business in the form of activity reports.

Senior PR and Corporate Communications Manager's background and previous experience:

• Demonstrable experience, over six years' experience, in investment management corporate and external communications, as part of a team in-house, or in an agency for the investment industry
• Team player, able to work well in a fast paced environment, with colleagues based globally
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to multi-task and willingly take on further responsibilities on an ad hoc basis as part of a small team

• Experience of working on PR internationally, ideally in the UK and Europe
• Natural and skilled writer with fluent English
• Entrepreneurial by nature, able to think smart and contribute creatively to new ideas

Associated Salary & Benefits (flexible dependent upon experience):

GBP65,000- GBP75,000 + benefits package + discretionary bonus.
