Role: Production Manager Location: East Midlands Salary: GBP40-45k Our client, a prestigious food manufacturer, are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the established team at their site based in the East Midlands. Now is a great time to be joining our client. With plans to move to a much larger site to help the continual growth of the business, the company is in excellent shape. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the production function of this highly respected business. This is a very hands-on management role. Responsibilities Manage a production team of 50 people, including two team leaders responsible for over 200 SKU's.To focus on increasing efficient output moving from multiple changeovers per day to running longer periods of manufacturing.Be a hands-on Production Manager, regularly reporting to senior management with findings and ideas as to how to increase efficiency within the business. Skills: Chilled or frozen production experience essentialBakery production experience desirableBRC accreditedExperience managing large teamsExperience of reporting to senior levels on a regular basisKnowledge of continuous improvement This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented Production Manager to join a great business, managing a large work force and increasing the efficiency within the team and subsequently the company.
