Assistant Accountant
Location - Hinckley
Salary - GBP18000 to 26000 + Excellent Benefits
Arthur Jackman Associates are working with an exemplary Manufacturing Company who are based Hinckley who have asked for our expertise in locating an experienced Assistant Accountant. This Company is very much a forward thinking, progressive with a real passion for what they do.
Ideally looking for someone who is looking at working 9am to 2.30/3pm per day, 5 days a week. Alternatively, they will consider Full Time. This will all depend upon experience.
They are keen to bring in someone who is a real team player but they are very capable of working on their own, someone who possesses excellent communication - verbal & written, and someone who can is looking for a career with longevity.
Core duties include:-
Dealing with receipts, payments and transfers
Assist in the completion of period end procedures to strict deadlines
Assisting with Forecasting - Cash and P&L
VAT returns, EC Sales and Intrastat
Bank Reconciliations
Credit Control
Monthly statements
CID operation - mainly monthly reconciliations.
Key skills include:-
Demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines and work well in a team
Proven experience of working within accounting or finance environment
Proven experience of working within a fast paced & time defined environment
Knowledge & full understanding of the core duties of the Assistant Accountant vacancy
Strong IT skills - MS Office, Excel, Sage, Quick Books
Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
Strong ability to multi task and juggle several tasks over the course of a day
Accuracy and a great attention to detail
