Senior Associate/Assitant Manager - Audit Risk Assurance - Advisory - Leeds



I'm currently recruiting a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager to join the Northern Risk Assurance team of a leading advisory firm. This role can be based in Leeds, Newcasltle or Manchester, and there will be travel required for the role.



You will work within teams, reporting to a Manager/Senior Manager, to deliver a range of engagements such as External Audit Support & Performance Assurance. You will typically be working with a variety of external audit, internal audit and non-audit clients. This will be across multiple industries and you will be required to perform auditing, assurance or advisory engagements.



Skills required:

* Business/accounting experience which may also include relevant qualifications (e.g. ACA).
* Experience gained in an auditing and/or consulting environment.
* Experience in auditing controls within a wide range of IT, finance, and business processes.
* Experience of risk assessment/risk management/controls frameworks.
* Ability to analyse and interpret findings and their root causes, form practical improvement recommendations, and clearly articulate these to clients in both written reports and oral presentation.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to see a 'bigger picture' for clients and their business environment.
* Strong project management skills.
* Strong communication and relationship skills with colleagues and client staff of all backgrounds and levels.
* Experience in developing/coaching junior staff.
