The Port of Plymouth and ABP's facility at Millbay Docks has a Brittany Ferries' service to France and Spain, where the port's geographical advantages ensure it is well placed to continue to serve European trade and tourist routes. Brittany Ferries services carry around 450,000 passengers a year from Plymouth, operating daily services from Plymouth to France and weekly services to northern Spain for both passengers and freight. For cruise ships, Plymouth provides modern, full adjustable tender-berthing facilities to service ships moored in Plymouth Sound, as well as alongside berthing options.
