This is an excellent opportunity to develop or enhance your teaching skills as you join our supportive team Skills for Employment team. Working in partnership with colleagues with wide-ranging experience, you will recruit, enrol, and support students on these courses.
The successful applicant will have industrial experience/experience of pre-employability programmes and familiarity with the Adult ESOL/Functional Skills core curriculum. Highly developed communication skills will also be key, and above all else you must be committed to supporting students in working towards their ambition and fulfilling their potential.
You will either hold a teaching qualification i.e. CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS, or be committed to, as a minimum, achieving the certificate in Education and Training (CET). You also be qualified to Level 2 GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English or have a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
