Wilberforce College is a highly successful Sixth Form College serving the City of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.  We have around 1400 students in the age range 16-19.  We offer courses from Foundation to Advanced Level, though the majority of our students are studying at Advanced Level. 

We are seeking to appoint a Human Resources Manager.  This post will suit a highly organised and motivated individual who will be responsible for the coordination of strategic and operational human resources practice, and in so doing will help the College to achieve its goals and aspirations for staff, students and the wider community. 

In addition the Human Resources Manager will lead the College's Health and Safety function, ensuring that best practice is followed in all areas of the College's operations. 

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to work under pressure
• A working knowledge of current employment and health and safety legislation
• The capacity to present reasoned arguments supported by evidence
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to act on initiative

To commence on 2^nd May or as soon as possible thereafter, this post is 37 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 additional days. 

Remuneration is at points 37-40 (£29,470 - £31,845) on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Salary Spine (£26,312 - £28,433 actual salary).
