Are you from an engineering/manufacturing business and have a desire to problem solve paired with a great set of communication skills? If the answer is yes then please read on as this is a fantastic Quality Engineer role for a driven individual where you can earn over GBP35000 including overtime worked and even more exciting is the opportunity in time to advance your career even further than QE level in time.
Who are the company? Global leaders in their field, they employ over 200 turning over in excess of GBP25million. They heavily invest in talent and the successful candidate can in time look to take on greater accountability and win promotion within the quality department.
What do they want? A strong communicator from within engineering who will relish the opportunity to tackle non-conformances, utilising good commination skills to identify and then put corrective actions in place. Thirdly and just as important you will need to be computer literate, interrogate data and trends when investigating customer quality complaints.
Anything else? You'll get involved with auditing as and when required, set about amending or creating SOP's as and when required, maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ultimately reduce costs by saving the money lost on quality defects moving forwards.
