Nursery Room Leader

A Pre-School Room leader in Weston-Super-Mare paying an excellent salary. Your new companyThis family run nursery prides itself on providing a home from home environment. They divide the age groups into different rooms to enable focused learning for their age. The nursery is based in a great location in North Bristol and has a large car park making the resident parking scheme not an issue. This private day nursery has vast outdoor space and fantastic outdoor play equipment. Your new roleYou'll work with an experienced team to lead the learning and development of the pre-school room. You'll be assigned key children where you will be responsible for planning activities and recording information in their learning journals. You will be responsible to guide your team to provide the best care possible. The setting is introducing an electronic tablet to help make observations easier. What you'll need to succeedYou will need your level 3 in Childcare and ideally a level 6 in childcare with experience of leading a room to apply for this role. Ideally you will have worked in the pre-school room in a private day nursery previously or have a passion to teach within this type of setting. Your experience can be from a college placement or paid employment. This job would suit an experienced room leader looking for their next step in their childcare career or an experienced nursery practitioner who is keen to take on more responsibilities.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered an excellent annual salary, based on your experience and performance at interview.
