I am working on behalf of an International, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Newcastle. They are looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer to their team due to increased workload. They work in a variety of sectors including Education, Commercial, Retail and Healthcare. Their ethos is to create buildings that are more energy efficient, sustainable and cost effective to operate. They have a great reputation of designing innovative mechanical and electrical solutions for their clients. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer who has between two and three years' experience and is on route to becoming a Senior Electrical Engineer. The candidate coming in will be responsible for preparing detailed designs using Amtech, therefore previous experience using this software is essential and ideally you will have had experience using Dialux though this not essential . Day to day duties will be varied and are likely to include: Producing energy efficient designsCarrying out inspections and surveys on siteLiaising with various disciplinesProducing calculations and specifications using the relevant softwareWhen need, represent the company as lead engineer at client / project meetingsPreparing technical reports You will have a degree in Building Services Engineering or a similar subject and be working towards achieving your Chartership. Ideally you will already work within a consultancy environment.
